Your Role
As the Sales & Business Development Operations Manager, you will serve as the key conductor for Foxtrot’s sales and deal pipeline, ensuring commercial readiness and smooth execution from lead generation through contract renewal. You’ll coordinate closely with internal stakeholders - across sales, delivery, finance, and leadership - to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and enable data-driven decision‑making. Externally, you will support capture activities, proposal development, and customer engagements to accelerate deal velocity and drive growth.
Responsibilities
The role is dynamic, requiring a candidate who is adaptable, thrives in a team environment, and can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities will vary based on placement with the customer, but will include some or all of the following:
Internal Sales Process Management: Coordinate deal execution steps across sales, delivery, finance, and executive stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate progression of opportunities and hand-offs.
Proposal & Contract Operations: Draft, review, and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, proposals, compliance matrices, and timelines; support capture planning and customer presentations.
CRM & Pipeline Oversight: Maintain and optimize Foxtrot’s CRM/ERP, updating invoicing, contract, contact, and commercial activity data; track opportunities, generate forecasts, and present pipeline reports at leadership meetings.
Resource Management & Tracking: Monitor resource availability and allocation using pipeline intelligence; collaborate with Recruiting and Leadership teams to match staffing to business demand; support weekly resourcing meetings, documenting outcomes and action items.
Sales Enablement & Analytics: Refine sales playbooks, proposal templates, and collateral; maintain version control of customer‑facing materials; analyse sales and delivery data to generate insights that improve forecasting accuracy, deal velocity, and pipeline visibility.
Customer Engagement & Delivery Support: Partner with delivery and engagement leads to coordinate key client-facing meetings, track milestones, and monitor renewal timelines and satisfaction KPIs.
Lead Generation & Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing and outbound teams to develop quality lead lists, manage LinkedIn Sales Navigator campaigns, and ensure seamless hand‑off to capture teams; plan and budget BD events, webinars, and workshops.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the sales-to-delivery handoff; propose and implement streamlined operations workflows and tooling enhancements (e.g., CRM automation, document management).
Supporting Global Business Development Team: Working closely with leads for each geographic region to provide direct support as outlined above, while helping to coordinate their GTM needs with sales leadership.
