Oracle and Defense

There’s a new sense of urgency around defense innovation. The Pentagon is pushing hard for greater speed and flexibility across the supply chain. We’re seeing a new generation of defense technology innovators emerge to meet the challenge.

Oracle’s Defense Summit is a chance for Oracle to rally its partners in government and technology in support of these new vendors. Oracle wants to make sure they and their crucial innovations in automation, AI and engineering have everything they need to thrive – a clear path from innovation to procurement to deployment in the field.

And Oracle is doing everything it can to clear that path. The technical backbone of the platform will be provided by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with tools like Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer Isolated, a new sovereign cloud solution for governments announced at the summit. Beyond Oracle’s own technical accomplishments, we expect major rewards from the capabilities Oracle has succeeded in bringing on board from day 1.

Oracle and Palantir share a commitment to innovation in defense technology. More fundamentally, the idea of fostering innovation through secure connectivity and trusted platforms is immediately familiar to Palantir. As partners, we’re excited to be part of that journey.

Since Warp Speed launched in 2024, Palantir has committed to creating a true operating system for defense manufacturing. Warp Speed will bring in everything Palantir and its partners have learned from adapting Foundry and the Ontology approach within enterprise settings, on top of its deep history in defense.

It's a powerful proposition: a whole-world OS that makes the entirety of the business—from floor operations and supply chain logistics to design workflows—accessible through a Foundry-style Ontology, all within the secure framework of Oracle's platform.

For defense manufacturers, this means real-time visibility and control that were unthinkable in the past – and will be indispensable in the future.
